Day 1 8:30am Crane operator starts swinging the first wall panel in place.
Day 1 8:45am Photo from the Triance Homes billboard (Vintage Greens in Yelm)
Day 1 9:15am Wall panel installation continues.
Day 1 10:10am All 1st floor exterior walls are installed including the 18' balloon-framed wall.
Day 1 10:30am SHME crew hand-carries the interior wall panels in place. VTP's (Very-Top-Plates) are notched out so that the system fits like a puzzle.
Day 1 11:00am Stair system is also pre-made for quick installation.
Day 3 8:30am After the 2nd floor system is installed (Day 2), we begin installing the 2nd floor exterior wall panels.
Day 3 9:00am 2nd floor exterior wall installation continues.
Day 3 9:30am On this house, the rear and side elevations are specified as Hardiplank siding. Only the front elevation has some Spruce Siding with Stucco and Cultured Stone.
Day 3 9:45am Due to different exterior specifications, we fabricated the wall panels only up to applying the moisture barrier.
Day 3 12:30pm After installing the 2nd floor interior wall panels then plumbed and lined, sided gables are installed.
Day 3 1:00pm Roof trusses are now ready for installation.
Day 5 1:00pm Main roof is completed so the crew now works on the details.
Day 5 1:00pm Make no mistake, we are NOT a modular builder!! Even the 18' open-to-the-ceiling design is a piece of cake for the SHME Framing System.
Day 5 1:00pm Pick-up work such as rim siding and corner board installation are getting done concurrently while the subs work on the inside of the house.
Day 6 1:00pm Since we have the roof on already, electricians, plumbers and installers for HVAC are doing their part within 6 days from the start of the SHME Framing System installation.
Day 6 4:00pm The house is now all "Dried-in (Roofing Installed)" It only took us 6 days!!! Notice how clean the jobsite is. With SHME, you don't need a big-ole dump truck to come in and out for waste disposal!
